Running races

We have been getting ready for Rimu Athletics Day.  Sadly, it was raining today so we will have Athletics Day on Friday.
We have had to learn to run in lanes.  We have found this VERY tricky!

Coco and Navala are Room 3's semi-finalists for Friday's running race.

Get, Set, Go!

Every Monday we have Get, Set, Go!  Coach Dean comes and teaches us some very clever skills.  Today we played games that helped us with our balance and with our catching and throwing.  Aren't we clever!

Visitors in Room 3!

We had some very cute visitors in Room 3 this morning!  Felix came and showed us his pet chicks.  Felix didn't tell us that they were chicks.  We had a very interesting conversation about what we thought these animals would grow into!
