Road Safety

It is Road Safety Week in Rimu Team.  Constable Rob came and talked to us about being safe when we cross the road.  Because we are only 5 we have to cross with an adult but we can teach the adults how!  

Cassie The Artist

Cassie drew a fantastic picture of a duckling today. We were wondering if a duckling had 4 legs...... So we looked on the iPad and found out that a duckling only has 2 legs. We love discovering new things!

Music with Janina

We were very lucky today.  We had music with Janina!  We listened to a music story and we all had a chance to play a real trumpet!  We had to use "buzzy lips" to make the trumpet make a sound.

Discovery Time

Today in Discovery Time, we started our session by reading the story called The Pirate Who Said Please.  It was about a boy who was unkind and rude to his friends.  He ended up very lonely and sad.  Him learnt how to be kind and polite and made lots of friends!  Today we practised being kind and polite to our friends.  Here are some photos of our kind and polite children that our Discovery Time Photographer took.
